The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butorin tries to close the distance and clinch up but clements swats him away and circles back towards the center.
clements gets a takedown into half guard.
clements prevents Butorin from improving his position.
Butorin trying to hold on to clements's head to control him but clements postures up.
clements looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
clements stops Butorin from getting back to his feet.
Butorin wants to improve his position but clements is controlling well.

clements is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

clements drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and clements jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

clements jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Butorin walks away with a smile on his face. clements gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and clements counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by clements.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

clements has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Butorin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! clements is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Butorin pulls down on the head and he's put clements to sleep! This one is all over!
