Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Payne, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Payne against the cage but Payne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Payne as he jumps to the side.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tyson Payne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kron Gracie.

Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Payne is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Payne is in trouble now - Gracie has advanced to mount!
Gracie mounts Payne! Really nice guard pass there!
Payne is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea.
Gracie wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Payne is trying to escape the mount.
Payne's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Payne wants to control but Gracie is having none of it.
Payne is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Gracie controlling the position easily from mount.
Gracie won't let Payne get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Payne tries to hold on but Gracie postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Payne throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Gracie avoids the attempt from Payne to control.
Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Payne tries to buck Gracie off but he can't manage it.

Gracie working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Payne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Payne is wriggling around trying to escape.

Gracie working for a guillotine from mount but Payne is in no mood to give up.
Payne is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Gracie lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Gracie misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Payne tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kron Gracie dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gracie fails with the takedown.
Payne with a hook.
Payne lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Gracie is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Payne.
Payne lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Gracie sprawling to the canvas. Payne follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Gracie hang on?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Payne works his way into full mount!
Gracie is still in real trouble! Can Payne finish him?

Payne moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gracie has worked his arm free - good work by Gracie!
Gracie seems to have recovered his senses.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Payne wants to stand but Gracie is controlling his arm.

Gracie tries to buck Payne off but Payne is having none of it.
Payne wants to stand but Gracie has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Payne is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gracie Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Payne's back instead.
Payne looking very determined here, making life difficult for Gracie.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gracie working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Payne is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Gracie has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Payne taps out!
