Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van The Vampire Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ariston Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Van The Vampire Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ariston Costa!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Vampire Hunter misses with a body kick.
The Vampire Hunter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Costa pinned against the cage. Costa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Vampire Hunter stuffs the takedown attempt from Costa. Costa gets slowly back to his feet.
The Vampire Hunter tries to clinch up but Costa circles away and keeps his distance.

Costa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Costa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but The Vampire Hunter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The Vampire Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Costa on the ground.
The Vampire Hunter tries to buck Costa off but Costa is having none of it.
Costa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Costa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Vampire Hunter wants to control but Costa postures up.
The Vampire Hunter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Costa asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Costa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Costa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Costa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The Vampire Hunter is trying to get back to half guard.

Costa is trying to get an arm triangle but The Vampire Hunter is defending well.
The Vampire Hunter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The Vampire Hunter can't do much from the bottom here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Costa has an Americana. The Vampire Hunter didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Costa is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Costa hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ariston Costa!
