Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angry BlackGuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Johnson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

BlackGuy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
BlackGuy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

BlackGuy stands up from guard. Let's bang!
BlackGuy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
BlackGuy shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Johnson moves out of range of the leg kick from BlackGuy.

Johnson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson showed some decent athleticism there.

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson drops an elbow to the side of BlackGuy's head.
BlackGuy looks like he's trying to stand up.

BlackGuy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

BlackGuy has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.

BlackGuy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Johnson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
BlackGuy lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Johnson hang on?

Johnson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
BlackGuy pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

BlackGuy has one foot on Johnson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Angry BlackGuy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
BlackGuy misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
BlackGuy misses with a head kick.
Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but BlackGuy swivels and escapes.
Johnson throws a body punch but BlackGuy moves out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

BlackGuy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Johnson was covering up waiting for the punch and BlackGuy finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

BlackGuy thows a big elbow that misses.
BlackGuy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
BlackGuy has his takedown stuffed
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Johnson misses with a takedown

and BlackGuy counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Johnson pushes BlackGuy off looking to stand but BlackGuy dives back in and keeps control.
BlackGuy working over Johnson with some ground and pound. Johnson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
BlackGuy is nestled in close to Johnson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! BlackGuy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

BlackGuy is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Johnson has his hands clasped together but BlackGuy extends an breaks Johnson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by BlackGuy.
