Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buba Bubovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolay Nechvidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikolay Nechvidov told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Bubovich.

It looks like Nikolay Nechvidov has been cut.
Nechvidov tries to clinch there but Bubovich circles away.
Nechvidov takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Bubovich feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nechvidov sprawling to the canvas! Nechvidov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bubovich finish him?!

Nechvidov is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bubovich lands a huge takedown. Nechvidov is out but the ref is slow to react and Bubovich lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Nechvidov lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
