The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Romero.

Filipovic rushes Romero and presses him up against the cage.
Romero has had enough of the clinch but Filipovic keeps him there for the moment.
Romero is trying to force a seperation but Filipovic has the dominant position.

Filipovic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Romero throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Filipovic.
Romero uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Filipovic.

Romero tries to break free but Filipovic pushes him back against the cage.

Filipovic manages to break the clinch.

and Filipovic counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Romero off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Filipovic follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Romero was out before he hit the floor.
