Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kamil P (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ohene appiah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). P's entrance music is DMX-INTRO. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
appiah throws a right and a left that both miss.
appiah throws a right and a left that P avoids nicely.
appiah misses with a jab, cross combination.
appiah throws a combination but it was largely blocked by P.

P shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

P stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows appiah to get to his feet.
appiah fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

appiah gets caught flat footed, as P shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

P slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kamil P just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
P postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
P is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
P is in close to appiah's body, working some short punches and elbows.
P lands a couple of digs.
P not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
P has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

P shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than P was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

P fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

P lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
P content just to control the position here.
P lands a big shot there that rocks appiah but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

P breaks from appiah's wrist control and lands an elbow.

P stands and steps away. appiah gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

P decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
P tries to pass to full mount but appiah defends it.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with P in particular looking to stall.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

P is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, appiah has managed to free his arm - good work.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

P seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down appiah for as long as he can get away with.
appiah wants to get back to his feet but P is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
