Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thomson is looking to clinch.
Jordon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jordon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thomson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jordon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jordon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Josh Thomson has been cut.
Jordon connects with a high kick.
Thomson moves in looking to clinch but Jordon pushes him off.
Jordon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jordon scores with a crisp jab that stopped Thomson in his tracks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thomson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jordon swivels and escapes.
Thomson is breathing heavily.
Jordon leaves Thomson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jordon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nice uppercut lands for Jordon. That snapped Thomson's head back.
Jordon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thomson moves away.
Thomson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jordon lands a nice looking body kick.
Jordon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dan Jordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jordon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jordon scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Thomson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Thomson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jordon lands a big head kick that sends Thomson to the canvas! Jordon follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
