The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willwerth tries to clinch up.
Gunderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gunderson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Willwerth was well out of range. Poor timing from Gunderson.

Willwerth rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gunderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Willwerth needs to keep his hands up - Gunderson had a free shot at his head there.

Willwerth takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Gunderson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Willwerth if he has to take too many more of those.

Phil Gunderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Willwerth moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gunderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gunderson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Willwerth is rocked!
Willwerth takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Gunderson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oh Willwerth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gunderson feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Willwerth crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
