Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Runaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Carbide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carbide is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Raised In The Projects. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Viktor Carbide was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runaway fails to land with a series of punches.

Runaway shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Carbide is trying to stand back up but Runaway is controlling him
Carbide wants to improve his position but Runaway is controlling well.
Runaway seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Runaway is keen to just control but Carbide is a slippery customer.
Runaway stops Carbide from getting back to his feet.
Carbide wants to improve his position but Runaway is controlling well.
Carbide has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Runaway is working away from the top position though.
Carbide is staying active underneath Runaway, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Runaway fails in his attempt to clinch.

Runaway gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Runaway drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Runaway taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Carbide tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Runaway smiles and moves away.
Runaway moves in looking to clinch but Carbide pushes him off.
Runaway tries to close the distance and clinch but Carbide swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Runaway fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Carbide's corner calls for a 1-2. Carbide obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Runaway fails with an attempt to clinch.

Runaway pushes Carbide up against the cage in a clinch.
Runaway is breathing heavily.
Carbide goes for a takedown attempt but Runaway pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Runaway finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Runaway takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice takedown defense from Carbide. No joy for Runaway on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Runaway. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab lands there for Carbide.

Horrible takedown by Runaway or perhaps it was just good defense by Carbide which made him look bad.
Oh Runaway is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carbide fakes the body blow, causing Runaway to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Runaway goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
