The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze cracks Jaques with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Lenard Jaques has been cut.
Blaze lands a slapping body shot.

Blaze throws a nice looking combination but Jaques bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blaze pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Jaques uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blaze.
Blaze connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Jaques tumbling to the canvas! Blaze pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Jaques was done - good stoppage!
