And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Block Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell slips a straight right by Fury.

and Liddell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fury thinking.

Fury throws a lazy right hand but Liddell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fury dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Liddell. That did some damage!

Liddell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fury stalks Liddell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Liddell's face. Liddell staggers backwards, shaken.

Liddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Floyd Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No joy there for Fury, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Liddell avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Liddell throws out a leg kick but Fury moves out of range and Liddell only half commits.
Fury fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Liddell manages to avoid it.
Liddell lands with a good body shot.
Fury avoids the head kick by Liddell.
Liddell lands a head kick. Fury smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Fury throws a right hand that Liddell ducks under and follows up with a left that Liddell also avoids with ease.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Block Liddell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Liddell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
