Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Wilkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Jung!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jung tries to clinch up but Wilkins circles away and keeps his distance.
Wilkins catches Jung with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jung is looking to clinch but Wilkins is avoiding it.
Jung tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wilkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wilkins stalks Jung and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jung's face. Jung staggers backwards, shaken.
Jung misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jung fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jung tries to clinch but Wilkins moves out of range.
Jung tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilkins paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jung tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wilkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jung wants to clinch up but Wilkins keeps it at a distance.
Wilkins misses with a wild combination.
Jung avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jung is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wilkins.
It looks like Yoshihiro Jung has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wilkins forces Jung back against the cage and clinches.
Wilkins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wilkins throws a right hand that Jung ducks under and follows up with a left that Jung also avoids with ease.
Jung throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilkins.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Wilkins! Jung is backing up but he can't get away as Wilkins lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Jung and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). David Wilkins!
