The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meatstock closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McGrillis prevents a takedown attempt there.
Meatstock will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning McGrillis up against the cage.

Meatstock pulls guard successfully.
Meatstock on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Meatstock tries to get out of the position.
McGrillis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Meatstock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGrillis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McGrillis wants to stand but Meatstock has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meatstock is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Meatstock wants to stand up but McGrillis is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
McGrillis tries to bum rush Meatstock with a series of wild strikes but Meatstock uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

No joy there for Meatstock, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Meatstock throws an overhand right that lands on McGrillis's shoulder, as McGrillis tries to avoid the shot.
McGrillis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bear McGrillis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McGrillis is looking to chop away at Meatstock's legs.
McGrillis misses with a combination
and Meatstock counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Meatstock rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McGrillis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McGrillis looks up at the clock. Bad move! Meatstock lands a right hand from hell, dropping McGrillis. Meatstock pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
