Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pipi Kali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Arshavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arshavin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Arsenal Mastermind. Pipi Kali could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Andrei Arshavin's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kali stuffs the takedown.
Kali throws the left hand but Arshavin avoids the punch easily.
Arshavin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kali.
Arshavin slips a straight right by Kali.
Kali throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Arshavin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kali ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arshavin moves away.
A slow jab from Kali misses its intended target.
Kali throws a combination. Arshavin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Andrei Arshavin has been cut.
Arshavin blocks a jab.
Donk. Kali catches Arshavin right on the button with a cross.
Arshavin is rocked!
Kali leaves Arshavin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kali misses with the combination.
Arshavin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kali looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Arshavin has hold of Kali's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kali tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Arshavin cranks the arm and Kali screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kali, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Andrei Arshavin!
