Karelin comes to the cage accompanied by Aleksandr Karelin Intro. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karelin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Karelin in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Chen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karelin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Karelin works to advance to full mount. Chen defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Chen tries to hold on but Karelin postures up.

Chen is in all sorts of trouble here.

Karelin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Chen wants to hold on but Karelin pushes him away.

Karelin lands a heavy elbow.
Karelin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Karelin working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Chen turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Karelin off and cradles Chen's limp body as Karelin celebrates with his corner.
