Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sub Mis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Gallager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gallager avoids it really well and circles away.
Mis tries to clinch up.
Gallager looks to score with a jab to the body but Mis is just out of range.
Gallager missing with a left hand there. Mis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mis throws a combination. Gallager tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Horrible takedown by Mis or perhaps it was just good defense by Gallager which made him look bad.

Gallager pushes Mis up against the cage in a clinch.

Mis successfully pulls guard.
Gallager trying to control but Mis is working from the bottom.

Mis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Gallager is just content to waste time from the top position. Mis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Mis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mis throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mis holds on and takes a little breather.

Mis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gallager doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gallager manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gallager wants to pass the guard but Mis is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mis fails with the takedown.

Gallager ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gallager no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gallager controls Mis momentarily but Mis frees himself.

Mis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gallager has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mis has managed to get both his arms back between Gallager's legs - danger averted.

Mis throws a big right hand that misses.

A close round but Matt Gallager will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mis tries to clinch there but Gallager circles away.
Mis shoots in for a double leg but Gallager sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gallager sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mis somewhat.
Sub Mis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gallager moves in looking to clinch but Mis pushes him off.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gallager misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mis.

and Gallager counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mis thinking.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Gallager counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Gallager misses with a few strikes there.
Mis closes the distance but Gallager moves to the side

enabling Gallager to counter with a crisp jab.

Gallager fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mis, pushing him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gallager.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gallager on the ground.

Gallager has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mis wanted to stand there but Gallager had control of the position.

Gallager looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Mis trying to control the position from guard on top but Gallager is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Matt Gallager showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Mis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Gallager shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mis napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Gallager throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Gallager wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mis keeps working.
Mis wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gallager is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Mis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gallager smiles and moves away.
Mis doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Gallager moves into the clinch.
Mis is trying to break the clinch but Gallager is controlling him.

Mis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gallager, up you get!
Matt Gallager is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Mis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gallager scores with a one two! Mis had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Gallager wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Mis is now in half guard.

Mis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gallager defends it well.

Well Gallager has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
