Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Hungus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaapo Hannuksela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hungus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is SOAD - Toxicity. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hungus looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hannuksela wants to improve his position but Hungus is controlling well.
Hungus trying to control from half guard but Hannuksela is working away.
Hannuksela is trying to get back to full guard.
Hannuksela wants to control but Hungus is keeping busy.
Hungus is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Hannuksela bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Hannuksela drops back looking for a leg! Hungus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hungus manages to kick Hannuksela off! Hannuksela jumps back into Hungus's guard.

Hungus had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hannuksela is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hungus Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hannuksela's back instead.

Hungus really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hannuksela.
Hannuksela staying busy and making it hard for Hungus to control.
Hannuksela rolls, trying to escape but Hungus keeps control of the position.
Hungus is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hannuksela is defending well though. Hungus let's go of the attempt for now.
Hungus is breathing heavily.

Hungus is working for a rear naked choke. Hannuksela is not defending it well and Hungus has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hannuksela refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hannuksela's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Karl Hungus!
