The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popoff dodges the punch combination from Gille.
Gille tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gille rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Popoff moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Gille, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gille is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Popoff tries to land a front kick but Gille steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gille closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Popoff throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Gille colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Popoff as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Gille is left battered and dazed whilst Popoff and his camp cheer!
