The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soikkeli moves into the clinch.
Soikkeli wants a takedown.
Soikkeli manages to break the clinch.
Snatcher closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Soikkeli to the mat! Soikkeli manages to get full guard.
Snatcher wants to get up but he can't break Soikkeli's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Soikkeli should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Snatcher lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Snatcher is nestled in close to Soikkeli, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Snatcher is keen to just control but Soikkeli is a slippery customer.

Soikkeli rushes Snatcher and presses him up against the cage.
Snatcher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Snatcher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Soikkeli is fending him off so far but Snatcher persists. Nope, Soikkeli circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Body Snatcher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snatcher cracks Soikkeli with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Snatcher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Soikkeli but Soikkeli pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Snatcher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Soikkeli moves away.
Snatcher swats away the attempt to clinch by Soikkeli.
Snatcher blocks a head kick by Soikkeli.
Soikkeli fails with a takedown attempt.

Soikkeli trying to control the position from guard on top but Snatcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Snatcher can't keep his opponent in guard - Soikkeli advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Snatcher is looking to improve his position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Snatcher makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Soikkeli shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Snatcher shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Snatcher was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Soikkeli is in a horrible position here. Snatcher smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Soikkeli is looking to improve his position but Snatcher isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Soikkeli manages to regain half guard. Good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Body Snatcher will probably get the nod.
