The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
styles shoots in looking for a takedown. Liddell tries to sprawl out of it but styles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Liddell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Liddell shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Liddell showed some decent athleticism there.
Liddell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
styles pushes Liddell off looking to stand but Liddell dives back in and keeps control.
Liddell is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Liddell working over styles with some ground and pound. styles looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
