Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Russell Bell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brayden Hulak!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell with a jab.
Hulak fails with a takedown attempt.
Bell throws a right and a left that Hulak avoids nicely.
Hulak checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hulak changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bell tries to avoid it but Hulak manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bell to the ground. Bell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hulak checks a leg kick.
Hulak is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bell stuffs the takedown.
Russell Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brayden Hulak.
Hulak is looking to clinch but Bell is avoiding it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hulak.
Horrible takedown by Hulak or perhaps it was just good defense by Bell which made him look bad.
Bell throws a series of punches but Hulak moves out of range.
Bell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brayden Hulak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hulak scores a takedown into full mount!
Hulak landing strikes from the mount and Bell is in trouble!
Hulak controlling the pace for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bell squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Hulak lands with some strikes.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hulak has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bell's face.

Bell is trying to stand.
Hulak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bell is trying to stand.

Hulak has control of Bell's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bell regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hulak postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bell looks a forlorn figure.
Oh Bell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hulak looks gassed!

Hulak quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hulak but it's paid off an Bell is forced to tap! Nice work by Hulak.
