Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Grimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Golota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Grimm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrzej Golota!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Golota.
Grimm closes the distance and clinches up with Golota, looking for a takedown. Grimm pushes Golota against the cage but Golota circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Grimm tries to clinch up.
Golota is looking to slow Grimm down with leg kicks.
Golota throws a right hand that Grimm ducks under and follows up with a left that Grimm also avoids with ease.

Grimm is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Golota's half guard.
Grimm works his foot free and advances to mount.
Golota really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grimm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Grimm has hold of Golota's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Golota manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Golota wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grimm tries to control but Golota wriggling away.
Golota has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Grimm biding his time, looking for the opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grimm is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Golota won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Grimm off his unconscious opponent!
