The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shaman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hughes circles away quickly and effectively.

Psycho Shaman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shaman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Shaman throws a front kick aimed at Hughes's knee but Hughes avoids it well.

Shaman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Shaman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Raul Hughes is winning the standup battle so far.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hughes, as that shot connected.

and Hughes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Shaman tries to clinch up but Hughes circles away and keeps his distance.
Hughes avoids the head kick by Shaman.
Hughes connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shaman. Shaman circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shaman throws a series of punches but Hughes avoids them all with ease.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hughes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Shaman looks to throw the jab but Hughes is out of range.
Shaman tries a low kick but Hughes avoids it.

The cut above Psycho Shaman's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hughes takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hughes fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Shaman is still on wobbly legs! Can Hughes finish him?
Hughes loads up on a big right hand but Shaman slips the punch.
Shaman seems to have recovered his senses.

Shaman walks into a straight right hand from Hughes.
Shaman misses with a jab to the body
and Hughes counters with a left and a right... And another left! Shaman is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
