The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parantainen works over Seguin's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Tyler Seguin has been cut.
Parantainen connects with a crisp jab.
A jab from Parantainen does it's job there.
Seguin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parantainen as he jumps to the side.
Seguin tries to score with a low kick but Parantainen moves his leg out of the way.
Seguin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parantainen sprawls well. Parantainen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Seguin gets slowly back to his feet.

Parantainen throws a series of punches but Seguin moves out of range.
Seguin shoots in looking for a takedown. Parantainen tries to sprawl out of it but Seguin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parantainen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Seguin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parantainen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Seguin shoots in for a takedown but Parantainen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Parantainen's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Parantainen duly obliges.
Seguin tries for a takedown but Parantainen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Parantainen lands with a big left! Seguin is wobbled badly! Parantainen comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Seguin to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
