Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Welch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Collie Buddz - Come Around. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Welch.
Welch displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Welch thows a body shot but no joy.
Welch moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jones misses with a double jab
and Welch counters with a stiff right hand.
Welch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones has his takedown stuffed
and Welch counters with a one-two to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jones, right into the meat.

and Welch counters with a left and a right that stings Jones.
Jeremy Welch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones looks to land a left hand but Welch moved out of range nicely.

and Welch counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Welch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Welch throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Welch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Welch drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Jones's head, knocking him out cold! Welch is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
