Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between manny pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JM CQ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CQ shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as pacquiao sprawls well. pacquiao wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. CQ gets slowly back to his feet.
CQ sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
CQ tries to clinch there but pacquiao circles away.
JM CQ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

CQ bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

pacquiao sneaks out the side door and pushes CQ away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
