Takaya comes to the cage accompanied by Jimi Hendrix - All along the Watchtower. Wegesin has chosen The four tops - It's the same old song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Yoshihiro Takaya had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wegesin throws a jab but it's blocked by Takaya.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wegesin. Takaya does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Takaya as Wegesin shoots in.
A slow jab from Wegesin misses its intended target.
Takaya scores with a nice strike.
A jab lands there for Takaya.
Takaya displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wegesin.
Wegesin thows a body shot but no joy.
Wegesin tries a head kick but it misses.

Takaya looks to land a combination but Wegesin avoids it well.
Takaya connects with a right hand. Wegesin shakes it off.
Takaya darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Takaya is thwarting Wegesin's attempts to control the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takaya wants to control from the top but Wegesin keeps moving.
Takaya is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wegesin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Wegesin cracks Takaya with an open hand slap.
Takaya avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Takaya throws a one two combo.

Takaya works over Wegesin's head and body with a nice combination.
Wegesin is rocked!
Takaya drops Wegesin with a naaaaasty hook - Wegesin is in real trouble here! Takaya dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
