Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Maynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramiro Crisp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maynard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is thunderstruck. Ramiro Crisp has the better chin. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard cracks Crisp with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Ramiro Crisp has been cut.
Crisp misses with a takedown attempt - Maynard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Crisp avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maynard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crisp fails to land the takedown.

Maynard feints and as Crisp raises his hands in defense, Maynard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Crisp is on top in guard.

Maynard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crisp gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crisp throws a strike but Maynard rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Crisp doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Crisp bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Maynard's guard.
Crisp trying to control the position from guard on top but Maynard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Crisp might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Maynard kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Maynard is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Crisp frees his head nicely. Oh but Maynard has switched to an armbar! Crisp is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
