Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJJ Submaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as BJJ Submaster enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sub Zero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJJ Submaster!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Submaster misses.
Zero misses with a hook.
Zero tries to clinch up but Submaster circles away and keeps his distance.

Zero throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Submaster.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Submaster drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zero pulls his leg out and moves away.
Zero will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Submaster counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Submaster is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Submaster is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Submaster tries to free his leg and advance position but Zero is retaining full guard.

Submaster is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Submaster wants to pass the guard but Zero is keeping the position.

Submaster drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zero looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zero looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zero!

Submaster manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Submaster wants to get back to full guard.
Zero is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Zero prevents Submaster from improving his position.
Zero wants to stand up but Submaster has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Submaster is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Zero wants to stand but Submaster is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Submaster is looking to get to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Submaster is trying to control the action in half guard but Zero is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Zero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Submaster on the ground.

Submaster is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Submaster is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Submaster is trying to control. Zero wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Zero tries a head kick but it misses.

Submaster drives through and clinches with Zero against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Zero throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Submaster blocks it with crossed arms.

Submaster jumps guard but Zero stands there with Submaster around his waist. Submaster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sub Zero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJJ Submaster.

BJJ Submaster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Zero got a little sloppy there for a moment and Submaster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zero has managed to get both his arms back between Submaster's legs - danger averted.

Submaster is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zero is aware though and is defending well.

Submaster has his foot on Zero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zero works his way back into a safe position though.

Submaster escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zero gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Zero gets to his feet - Submaster follows without any prompting.
BJJ Submaster is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

BJJ Submaster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Submaster winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
