Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Lundin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko has chosen Soviet March as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Aleksander Emelianenko enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksander Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lundin avoids it really well and circles away.
Lundin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Emelianenko circles away.
Lundin really is a fat lump.

Emelianenko tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lundin wants to control from the top but Emelianenko keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lundin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Emelianenko dives on top into guard.
Emelianenko tries to free his leg and advance position but Lundin is retaining full guard.

Lundin wants to stand up but Emelianenko is controlling him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lundin is looking to work some ground and pound but Emelianenko has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lundin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lundin throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Emelianenko goes for a takedown attempt but Lundin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

I would just about give that final round to Aleksander Emelianenko.
I think Emelianenko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
