Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richard Spivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dude looks like a lady!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spivey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ellis swivels and escapes.
Spivey keeps the fight on the outside.
Spivey circles away from the clinch attempt.
Spivey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ellis wants to clinch.
Ellis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ellis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Spivey counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ellis's guard now.
Spivey would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ellis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ellis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spivey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Spivey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Spivey postures up in Ellis's guard and throws a big left but Ellis blocks it.

Spivey is taking a breather. Ellis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
