Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lamb Chop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Mcgrath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lamb Chop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Mcgrath!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chop lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mcgrath tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chop paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mcgrath shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chop as he avoids it easily.
Chop lands a nice looking body kick.
Mcgrath is looking to land body kicks.
Lamb Chop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgrath swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mcgrath tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Chop pushes Mcgrath up against the cage in a clinch.
Chop scores a nice knee to the body.
Mcgrath looks gassed!

Chop really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A frustrated look appears on Mcgrath's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Mcgrath is trying to drag Chop to the mat but Chop just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Chop's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Chop trying to control the position but instead, Mcgrath has worked for underhooks and has pushed Chop into the cage.
Mcgrath is trying to force a seperation but Chop has the dominant position.

Chop keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mcgrath's efforts to push away.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Chop tries to land knees in the clinch but Mcgrath avoids the damage to the body.
Mcgrath drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chop pulls his leg out and moves away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chop takes one on the button.
Mcgrath tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chop was well out of range. Poor timing from Mcgrath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mcgrath misses with a takedown attempt - Chop sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chop scores with a leg kick.

Mcgrath doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Chop lands a nice looking body kick.

A looping hook to the body misses from Chop. Mcgrath does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chop lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Chop lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mcgrath's sensitive parts.

Lamb Chop is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chop throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mcgrath crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chop - the referee stops the clock and Mcgrath gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chop. Mcgrath manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chop scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mcgrath doesn't seem bothered though.
Chop stalks Mcgrath and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mcgrath's face. Mcgrath staggers backwards, shaken.
Chop is looking to slow Mcgrath down with leg kicks.

A chopping leg kick lands by Chop.
Mcgrath tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Chop lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mcgrath takes a step back to recover.
Chop scores with a spinning back kick!
Chop misses with a double jab.
Mcgrath tries to close the distance and clinch but Chop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mcgrath takes a kick to the side of the head.
Mcgrath looks for a takedown but Chop sprawls well.
Chop sizes up Mcgrath with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Chop lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lamb Chop is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Chop clinches up with Mcgrath and pushes him back against the cage.
Chop is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mcgrath is defending well for now.

Lamb Chop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan Mcgrath.

Mcgrath gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Mcgrath tries to pass the half guard into mount. Chop knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Mcgrath looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chop with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mcgrath content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Chop moves into full guard.
Mcgrath throws a big right hand that misses.
Chop will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mcgrath throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Mcgrath looking to sit in guard and control but Chop gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mcgrath has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chop is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mcgrath.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Chop tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Mcgrath wants to get back to his feet but Chop drags him back down.
Mcgrath sneaks back into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcgrath is trying to stand back up but Chop is controlling him
Mcgrath is trying to get back to full guard.
Chop prevents Mcgrath from standing back up.
Chop controlling the pace.
Mcgrath is pressing down on Chop's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Mcgrath shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chop but Chop pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mcgrath throws a wild body kick that Chop sees coming a mile off.
Chop buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Chop thumps Mcgrath with a low kick.

Chop forces Mcgrath back against the cage and clinches.
Chop is pressed up against the cage. Mcgrath has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chop down to the mat. Chop avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Chop just misses with a punch to the body.
Mcgrath chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chop can pounce on him.

Chop darts in and clinches Mcgrath up against the cage.
Mcgrath has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Chop.

Mcgrath's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chop takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Chop lands with a thumping leg kick.
Chop lands a jab to Mcgrath's midsection.
Mcgrath dives in and grabs Chop's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chop pushes down on Mcgrath's head and hops out.
Chop throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mcgrath.
Mcgrath avoids the head kick by Chop.
Mcgrath fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mcgrath looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Chop lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Chop moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Mcgrath tries to keep at a distance but Chop has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lamb Chop is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Mcgrath blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Mcgrath fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mcgrath shoots for a double leg takedown but Chop sprawls well. He's pushed Mcgrath's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Chop is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mcgrath can do to turn this around?

Chop feints and then cracks Mcgrath's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mcgrath down.

Chop looks to land a combination. Mcgrath sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Lamb Chop is winning the standup battle so far.
Mcgrath fails with a takedown attempt.
Chop goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lamb Chop showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chop, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
