Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ned Ryerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ibbe Ribbler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryerson comes to the cage accompanied by I Got You Babe. Ribbler has chosen Madball - For My Enemies as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribbler shoots in for a takedown but Ryerson shows good takedown defense.
Ibbe Ribbler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribbler takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Ibbe Ribbler has been cut.

Ribbler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ribbler showed some decent athleticism there.
Ryerson is holding on to half guard well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ribbler unloads with some shots from mount but Ryerson bucks and avoids them well.
Ribbler lands with some strikes.
Ryerson regains half guard.
Ryerson is refusing to be controlled, as Ribbler sits in half guard.
Ribbler tries to pass to full mount but Ryerson defends it.

Ribbler is thwarting Ryerson's attempts to control the position.
Ribbler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ryerson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Ribbler walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ryerson.
Ryerson leaves Ribbler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ned Ryerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ibbe Ribbler.

Ribbler drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ribbler postures up.
Ribbler trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryerson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ribbler is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Ryerson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ribbler manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ryerson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Ribbler fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ryerson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Ibbe Ribbler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ryerson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ribbler's calf.

Ribbler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ryerson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ryerson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ribbler is breathing heavily.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ryerson! Ribbler is out on his feet! Ryerson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ribbler is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ribbler is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
