Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaique Quadros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quadros's entrance music is Burn It to the ground. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Fox's choice of entrance music: 50 Cent Ft. Eminem - Psycho. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Quadros is defended easily by Fox.
Quadros takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Kaique Quadros has been cut.
Fox misses with a few strikes there.
Fox stuffs the takedown.
Fox throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fox drops Quadros with a left right combo! Fox follows him down to the ground into side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quadros tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Oh Quadros is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fox takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Quadros seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fox's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Fox has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Quadros is desperately trying to improve his position but Fox has a good base and remains in mount.
Quadros wants to control but Fox is having none of it.
Fox cracks Quadros with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Quadros is in a horrible position here. Fox smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Quadros wants to control but Fox is having none of it.
Fox controlling the pace for now.

Despite being in the dominant position, Nick Fox just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fox slaps away a takedown attempt from Quadros, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Fox throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Quadros tumbling to the canvas!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fox passes easily into side control. Nice work.
A lull in the action here as Fox stalls from top position.

Fox stands up and beckons Quadros to his feet.

Jeez, Kaique Quadros's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Quadros walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fox lands with a shot to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Fox.
Fox jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
