The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Barrera.
Barrera tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dirk was well out of range. Poor timing from Barrera.
Dirk shoots for a double leg takedown but Barrera sprawls well. He's pushed Dirk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dirk moves away from the strike by Barrera.
Dirk is looking to clinch.
Barrera throws a hook but Dirk avoids it easily.
Barrera cracks Dirk with a good jab.
It looks like Dikkie Dirk has been cut.
Dirk avoids the head kick by Barrera.
Barrera pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Barrera throws a shot from downtown. Dirk moves away and avoids it.
