Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Latrell Spreewell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet.
Anderson wants to clinch up but Spreewell keeps it at a distance.
Anderson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Anderson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Spreewell is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

It looks like Latrell Spreewell has been cut.

Spreewell is trying to trip Anderson. He has hold of a leg but Anderson is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Spreewell persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Spreewell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Anderson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Anderson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Spreewell can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close second round but I would say that Latrell Spreewell will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Anderson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Well Anderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
