Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mkat Twilight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Bernard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry Bernard struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twilight fails with the takedown.
Bernard moves in looking to clinch but Twilight pushes him off.
Twilight circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bernard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Twilight as he jumps to the side.
Bernard stuffs the takedown attempt from Twilight. Twilight gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mkat Twilight. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bernard on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Twilight. Twilight obviously looking to wear him down.
Twilight throws a right and a left that Bernard avoids nicely.
Bernard tries a head kick but it misses.

Bernard bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Twilight is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Twilight is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Twilight manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Twilight is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Twilight lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

A close round but Terry Bernard will probably get the nod.

Twilight throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Bernard has his hands clasped together but Twilight breaks the hold and Bernard is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Twilight!
