Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Snegov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konstantin Snegov struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snegov is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Valentine misses with the combination.
Snegov misses with a kick to the body.

It looks like Vincent Valentine has been cut.
Valentine fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Snegov checks it well.
Valentine dives in and grabs Snegov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snegov pushes down on Valentine's head and hops out.
Snegov's corner calls for a 1-2. Snegov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Snegov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Valentine.

Valentine postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Snegov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Valentine, into his guard.

Snegov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Valentine manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Snegov has Valentine in his guard.

Valentine is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Snegov sees it coming and defends easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Vincent Valentine will probably get the nod.

and Valentine counters with a single leg into guard. Snegov didn't expect that.
Valentine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Snegov is on top in guard.

Snegov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Snegov stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Snegov, as that shot connected.
Vincent Valentine is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Valentine tries for a takedown but Snegov circles away easily
and Snegov counters with a stiff right hand.
Snegov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Valentine on the side of the head.
Snegov is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Snegov counters with a nice uppercut.
Snegov throws a series of punches but Valentine avoids them all with ease.
Valentine throws a jab but it's blocked by Snegov.
Valentine gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Snegov.

Valentine shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Valentine counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Valentine is pushing down on Snegov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Snegov is fighting to maintain full guard but Valentine has managed to sneak the leg through.
Valentine is thwarting Snegov's attempts to control the position.
Valentine seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Snegov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Valentine is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Snegov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Valentine was well out of range. Poor timing from Snegov.

and Snegov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Snegov.
Valentine tries to strike from the bottom.
Snegov wants to control from the top but Valentine keeps moving.
Valentine is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Snegov is looking to improve his position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Snegov throws a head kick that half lands.
Snegov thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Valentine if he has to take too many more of those.
Snegov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valentine but Valentine pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Snegov is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Valentine has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Snegov is looking to defend but Valentine has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Snegov! Valentine pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Snegov taps out and this one is all over!
