The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanderburg tries to clinch there but Grip circles away.
Vanderburg lands with a good body shot.
Vanderburg thumps Grip with a low kick.

Vanderburg drives through and clinches with Grip against the cage.
Vanderburg scores with a hook to the body.

Vanderburg pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vanderburg throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Grip's head.

It looks like Erik Grip has been cut.

Vanderburg lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vanderburg.

Vanderburg clinches.

Vanderburg breaks the clinch.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Vanderburg.
Grip looks gassed!

Vanderburg fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Grip, pushing him back against the cage.
Vanderburg is pressed up against the cage. Grip has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Vanderburg down to the mat. Vanderburg avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Vanderburg lands with a right hand.

Vanderburg lands a big head kick that sends Grip tumbling to the mat! Vanderburg takes a step backwards and waves Grip back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Grip looks up at the clock. Bad move! Vanderburg lands a right hand from hell, dropping Grip. Vanderburg pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
