Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between B Schnitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shiko Shubaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Schnitz is defended easily by Shubaka.
Schnitz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Shubaka stalks Schnitz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Schnitz's face. Schnitz staggers backwards, shaken.
Schnitz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Shubaka tries to clinch up but Schnitz circles away and keeps his distance.
Schnitz moves forwards but Shubaka connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Schnitz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shubaka cracks Schnitz with an open hand slap.
Shubaka stuffs the takedown.
Schnitz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shubaka finds it's way round the side to connect with Schnitz's head.
Schnitz dives in and grabs Shubaka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shubaka pushes down on Schnitz's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for B Schnitz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Schnitz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Schnitz moves forwards but Shubaka connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Shubaka slaps away a takedown attempt from Schnitz, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Shubaka moves into range and clinches up with Schnitz.
Shubaka makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Schnitz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shubaka gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Schnitz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Shubaka prevents it.
Shubaka has Schnitz pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Schnitz manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shubaka throws an elbow but it misses.
Schnitz prevents a takedown attempt there.

Shubaka wants the takedown. Schnitz is fighting it off but Shubaka persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Schnitz's guard against the cage.
Shubaka won't allow Schnitz to sweep him here.
Schnitz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Shubaka!

Schnitz lands a big elbow.

Shubaka is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Schnitz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Shubaka is still in real trouble! Can Schnitz finish him?
Oooooh, big shot lands for Schnitz! Shubaka is hurt baaadly! Schnitz is firing away with more strikes - Shubaka is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
