And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Leben!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leben tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mcnichol was well out of range. Poor timing from Leben.

Mcnichol rushes Leben and presses him up against the cage.
Leben working hard to break the clinch.
Mcnichol lands a knee to the body.

Mcnichol manages to break the clinch.
Mcnichol misses with a double jab.
Leben doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Leben looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leben throws out a loose jab but Mcnichol uses good head movement to avoid it.
Leben takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Mcnichol gets a clinch.

Mcnichol breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mcnichol scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Chris Leben has been cut.
Mcnichol throws a head kick that misses.
Mcnichol rushes Leben with punches - Leben moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Leben goes down! Mcnichol follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
