Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cimbro Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Smith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slice.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slice checks a leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Slice.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Slice darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Slice wants to free his trapped foot but Smith is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Slice thows a huge punch but Smith dodges it nicely.

Slice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Slice changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Slice manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Slice. Slice gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith falls off balance throwing a combination
and Slice counters with a low kick, right behind Smith 's knee.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Slice closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Slice avoids a punch combination nicely.

Smith throws a lazy right hand but Slice sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Slice drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slice jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Cimbro Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
