Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Correia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Correia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Correia!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Correia looks for a takedown but Bale sprawls well.

Bale has managed to clinch.
Correia tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bale smiles and moves away.
Bale feints and then cracks Correia's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Correia down.
Correia shoots in looking for a takedown. Bale tries to sprawl out of it but Correia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bale manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Joe Bale has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Correia.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bale.
Correia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Correia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Correia got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bale has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Correia has managed to get both his arms back between Bale's legs - danger averted.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Correia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bale throws a nice inside leg kick.
Bale misses with a few strikes there.

Bale forces Correia back against the cage and clinches.
Correia looking for a takedown.
Correia's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Bale keeps control of Correia as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bale throws a right and a left that Correia avoids nicely.

Bale looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bale rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Correia moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bale misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bale looks to land a combination. Correia sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Fedor Correia has been cut.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bale.
Bale scores with a one two! Correia had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Bale lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Correia backs up against the cage.
Bale lands with a nice combination. Correia backs away looking to recover.
Correia on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bale. Bale obviously looking to wear him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Joe Bale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bale wants to clinch up but Correia keeps it at a distance.

Bale clinches up with Correia and pushes him back against the cage.

Bale is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Correia is controlling him.

Bale throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Correia.
Bale throws a sloppy head kick and Correia moves out of range easily.
Bale lands a glancing blow to the side of Correia's head.
Correia tries for a takedown but Bale sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Correia avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Bale misses with a leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Bale. No joy for Correia on that attempt.
Horrible takedown by Correia or perhaps it was just good defense by Bale which made him look bad.

Bale lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Bale darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That has opened up Fedor Correia's cut even more.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Correia takes a jab right on the kisser.

Correia has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

The cut above Fedor Correia's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Bale plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Bale lands a left and a right that send Correia crashing to the mat, dazed. Bale thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Correia is rocked!
Correia seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Bale shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Correia is backing up but Bale catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Correia covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Bale Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
