Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Shanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and EF Hutton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roger Shanks looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roger Shanks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, EF Hutton!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutton tries to clinch but Shanks moves out of range.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

Shanks looks for a takedown but Hutton sprawls well.

Shanks gets the takedown into side control.
Hutton looks to move to half guard but instead Shanks has passed into mount! Damn!
Hutton is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Hutton is squirming around, avoiding Shanks's attempts to control the action.
Hutton tries to hold on but Shanks pushes him away.
Hutton really wants to buck Shanks off and get back to his feet.
Shanks trying to control but Hutton is having none of it.

Shanks takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Shanks connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hutton is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hutton is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Shanks trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Shanks with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
BOOM! Shanks connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Shanks pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hutton wants to hold on but Shanks pushes him away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Shanks cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Hutton lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Shanks scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Shanks changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hutton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Shanks lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hutton down.
Hutton is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Shanks shoots in and drives through. Hutton sprawls well.

Hutton shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Shanks is squirming around, avoiding Hutton's attempts to control the action.

Roger Shanks overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hutton goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Shanks is on top in guard.
Hutton wants to get back to his feet but Shanks is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Shanks wants to control from the top but Hutton keeps moving.
Shanks is really struggling to control Hutton but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Shanks is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

EF Hutton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

EF Hutton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hutton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
