Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adriano Flamenguista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larkon Namarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adriano Flamenguista!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Larkon Namarez!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Flamenguista.
Flamenguista avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Namarez forces Flamenguista back against the cage and clinches.
Namarez managing to block the knees to the body from Flamenguista.
Namarez tries to pull guard but Flamenguista holds him up against the cage and eventually Namarez drops back down to his feet.
Flamenguista is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Namarez pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Flamenguista wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Namarez has Flamenguista pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Flamenguista manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Namarez can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Namarez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
