Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zack Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
marques keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Harris closes the distance and clinches up with marques, looking for a takedown. Harris pushes marques against the cage but marques circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Harris misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harris swats away the attempt to clinch by marques.
Harris fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zack Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Harris tries to keep at a distance but marques has taken the fight into the clinch.
marques is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Harris gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
marques lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Harris or not.
marques prevents a takedown attempt there.
Harris goes for a takedown attempt but marques pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Harris circles away from the clinch attempt.
Harris shoots in and drives through. marques sprawls well.

Harris is breathing heavily.
marques trying to keep a closed guard but Harris is proving a slippery customer.

marques bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harris's guard.
marques advances position into side control!
marques trying to control the position but Harris is working away.

marques decides to stand up, so the ref orders Harris to his feet.
marques tries to clinch but Harris is having none of it.
marques tries to clinch there but Harris circles away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by marques.

marques stands up and we're back to a striking position.
marques tries to close the distance and clinch but Harris swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

marques shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Harris manages to get to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Harris is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Harris slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Harris works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Harris is looking for a kimura here.
marques is not content to let Harris control the position.
marques wants to control but Harris is keeping busy.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
marques tries to roll over but Harris keeps him under control.

marques is staying active underneath Harris, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Harris is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Harris looking to finish marques with some ground and pound. This is bad for marques!

Harris working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
marques is working to get back to half guard.
marques is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Harris is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, marques has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Harris has isolated one of marques's arms. marques looking to fight him off but Harris twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
