Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Craig Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toxic Avenger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harper comes to the cage accompanied by Spitfire. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avenger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harper swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Harper throws a series of punches but Avenger avoids them all with ease.
Harper closes the distance and clinches up with Avenger, looking for a takedown. Harper pushes Avenger against the cage but Avenger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Harper is pressed up against the cage. Avenger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harper down to the mat. Harper avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

No joy there for Avenger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Avenger connects with a nice short shot to Harper's temple.
