The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by John or perhaps it was just good defense by Arguello which made him look bad.
John will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
No luck for John with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for N word John. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice takedown defense from Arguello. No joy for John on that attempt.
John shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arguello but Arguello pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Arguello connects with a good right hand that stumbles John. John circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
John is breathing heavily.
Arguello misses with a series of wild punches.
John fails with a takedown attempt.

Arguello drops John with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but John looks back up at him and smiles so Arguello waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

John is rocked!
John tries to score a power double leg takedown but Arguello sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten John somewhat.
Oh John is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arguello lands a jab to John's midsection.

Arguello feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending John crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
