Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Damian Bachaj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Siguancia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bachaj comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed - indestructible. Damian Bachaj has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Siguancia, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bachaj feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Siguancia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bachaj doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bachaj manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bachaj shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Siguancia as he jumps to the side.

Bachaj jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Siguancia walks away with a smile on his face. Bachaj gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bachaj lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Siguancia is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Bachaj gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Siguancia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Siguancia wants to control from the top but Bachaj keeps moving.
Damian Bachaj overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Siguancia is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Siguancia must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
